Rosa Damascena

DAMASK ROSE ABSOLUTE

Turkish Rose is picked by hand at dawn to avoid the petals oxidising before being mixed. It is then distilled to obtain the precious essence. A hundred and fifty thousand roses are needed to produce a few grams of essential oil. Damascena is the Pétrus of perfumery: profound, mysterious, the eternal queen.

ESSENCE OF BLACK PEPPER

Its berries are picked and then dried, reduced to powder and distilled to extract the essential oil of Black Pepper. Black pepper may be a little spicy to the taste, but it is its incisive freshness and mystery that burst through in a perfume.
